hummingbird question

i have a 798 on console and a 575 at the front. i was wondering if i could move the 798 to the front and if it would work off of the 575 transducer? transducers look the same i would just try it but dont know if it will mess up the 798 thanks

Try it again but this time set the Transducer Select menu on the 798 unit to the Universal Sonar 2 menu setting. The 575’s transducer will not be able to make the Si sonar, just the 200/83kHz DualBeam sonar.
