Do you have grass in your area? I didn't glance at your photobucket links but the deeper water DI looked like fish, hard to tell with the small photo though. The earlier 2d posts in shallow water look like weeds.

Alwight, looked at your photobuckets. Still small photos for my old eyes.
First photos, don't know. something of interest but would need bigger photo to figure out.
The others look like yor on some fish. The DI is on, the 2d needs adjustment.
are you saying that you have fish id turned on in thoughs photobucket pictures
Yur first photo in photobucket interests me because 2d has picked something up but DI hasn't. Maybe one of the regular lowrance users can help with that.
My first impressions are that your DI is dialed in pretty good, your 2d less so. Looks like you need to decrease sensitivity.
Nice, I count 13 fish in that second photobucket picture. Did you catch any?
Third photo bucket picture, What is the blue garbage in the 2d? Looks like small fish in DI but the 2d/DI aren't synch'd???? Again, another for cane pole or one of those lowrance users.
Last question, how fast were you going in posts 171, 172 and 175?
1. Pictures are too small to really be able to determine what's what for sure. In photobucket, you should have an option to "resize" your picture allowing you to post a larger picture.
2. From what I can see in the bigger pictures, the sonar sensitivity is set too high. A lot of times in shallow water, you need to lower it. I keep mine at about 76 in most cases and haven't had it shallow very much yet.
3. I can also see "Prop Wash" in a couple of the pictures. Go back to the youtube video I posted about settings and watch it concerning adjusting for the filter on the DI. You should also be able to find the filter under the menu for the structure scan somewhere under settings.
I think you'll have a tough time adjusting in shallow water due to the prop wash. Make any adjustments in the 10' or deeper range.
Stymie is right to a point, it appears the two pics are not synced, but my guess would be the two transducers are too far apart from each other giving you a different view for each picture. On my HDS-8, when I have sonar and DI on screen, I'm showing the same bottom at the same time. This is due to my owning a smaller boat and I have one transducer mounted a little over a foot left, and right of my motor. The proximity of the two allow the same contour to show on screen at the same time. In your side by side pictures, it looks as there is about a 3-5' difference in what you're showing on screen. I would send a PM to Jason at Lowrance and ask him how close the transducers should be to each other. They might be able to be mounted side by side with no interference.
You are getting closer though, all I can say is "keep pushing" and you'll get there. You are still in the learning curve stage as well.
i have one transducer on one pontoon and the other on the other pontoon---no room for 2 on 1 pontoon. this will effect overlay, but should not effect anything else. i am seeing the same on the bottom on both, maybe a couple seconds difference. i am in 10 foot most of the time trying to adjust.
