    Anyone splice into their trolling motor wire to power your fishfinder at the front?

    From reading threads on here about trolling motor interference with fishfinders BUT with me having absolutely no expertise in any area of this, I wouldn't do it.

    Don't do it. You are asking for noise. Run your electronics off the cranking battery.

    no dont do it you have problems if you do
    fishing from the couch in front of the tv doesnt count
