Hot Maps card for 898 HB

I was wondering if I should order the Hot Maps Platinum or the Premium for my HB898. What are the big advantages to the Platinum over the Premium? Is the 3D feature something I would use or just nice to have? My old Lowrance used a very basic Hot Maps card that didn't have much fine detail. I'm going to be needing the east card in case somebody has a good deal on a used one.

Hey cuz,

The only difference shown on their website is 3D View, Panoramic Lake Photos, Top-down Satellite Imagery,

I've heard that these extra features can really drain on the processor functionality..slowing the unit down....

I went with the Premium..it still has the same 1 ft contour features that the Platinum does...

Maybe someone will post with actual Platinum user opinion...

all the 8, 9, and 11 are 3d imaging. If you want the best get the platinum, but if all you want to see is the contour lines,
don't waste the extra money, Get the premium.
