    Default Breakaway Transducer Mount

Just purchased a Lowrance HDS 8 with structure scan. Will mount transducer back on the transom. Do i need a Breakaway Transducer Mount? Is it worth the money? No clue here..
    thanks.

I just watched a Navico video that showed the installation of the Ducer. It comes with a bracket that will swing up if you bump something. Just don't overtighten the bolt holding it on and it should flip up if you hit anything.

I just installed my transducers for the same unit, both units come with swing away brackets.

Crappie Reaper, do you have a link to that video?
