I need a favor. The next time you are out please pay close attention to the pointer (or little boat) when you drop below 5MPH.I know for a fact that with the H2O and the LCX-27, when you start going so slow, the indicator will start going sideways instead of pointing in the actual direction you are going. When you speed up it will straighten up. I am curious if the newer models still do this. I do appreciate any input.

You might need software update. check your software on your units and see if matches with the current software.

Thanks Jason but I keep the software up to date. I do need to double check the H20 though.

My 520c has never done this and neither has my Ifinder or the H2O I had.

I just spent the day slow trolling w/ Billbob. His Lowrance HDS pointer tracked perfectly, we were in the .3 to.5 speed range a lot I also run an Eagle Fish Elite 640 on my boat and don't have directional issues at slow speeds.
