Lss-1

I've just hooked up my HDS-8 and LSS-1
I think I may have a bad connection but before I take it apart, I thought I would ask here 1st.

On the LSS-1 when powered on there are 3 lights on as follows
POWER- light is on
SONAR- light blinks
LINK/ACT- light flickers and seems weak, is this normal or what is normal?

Any input would be helpful

Congrats, I want an HDS-8 BAD to replace one of my 5's. I'll have to go into the garage, get in my boat and power on. As I recall, there may be a change you make on the unit. Actually if the power is on for the LSS unit, I'd say you are good.

There's some steps to get the unit to use it? That should be in the instructions. I'd say you're almost there.
