    Default Lowrance Elite Max 5 Color, Seeing Fish?


    I do love the color screen on this unit, one problem. I can not see the fish really well, what can I do to make them show up better on this unit. I shows dropoffs stumps, submerged cover better than I have ever seen before. If the fish would show up better it would be swell. I know its just an adjustment than I haven't got figured out yet. HELP!!

    Put your unit shallow water mode and then bring up your ping speed to 18-19

    I will try that tomorrow. This screen is the best view I have ever seen. A stump looks just like a stump. Not just a blob. The drop offs are so vivid its scary. When I fix this fish thing I will be very well pleased. Thanks Jason, U guys have a good product here.
