    Question Humminbird

Looking at getting a humminbird 560 basspro has them on sell for 149.99. Is this a good depth finder for a first timer on a budget.

Yes it'll work for ya! Only draw back is it is a single beam instead of dual but for a 1st time deal it ain't bad.

My rule of thumb is buy the best unit you can afford at the time. I started out with cheap units, but then kept replacing them with more expensive. If you can get into one of the down imaging, or cheap color finders, I'd recommend it.
