Doesn't mention about needing an external antenna at all. Call them and ask about this before you order as this may be a hidden cost that will jack up the price. You'll also need a map card for the gps too. Thats at least another $100 if you want a current one. At this price, get it now and get the accessories later this spring.

I have the non GPS Fish Mark 480 version of this and it is a decent fish finder for the money and if its all you can afford its a good deal in my book. I am looking at one of these at Bass Pro and the GPS antenna is included and it also has a built in base map of lakes and inland waters. The cards are needed if you want more detail. If you just want the GPS to navigate with and mark spots you won't need the card but if you want detailed maps then yes you will need one and most require you to buy a card anyway except the high dollar ones that are bundled and you are still paying for the maps. I am getting one to put in my console for simple navigation and will probably get the detailed card. Some day I plan on putting something nice up on the bow like a side image HB, but for the price this will work perfect at my console. Just my 2 cents.

I am going tomorrow to get one at Bass Pro in Nashville, TN tomorrow I will post tomorrow when I get back and let you know 100% for sure what comes with it if you would like.

I've had mine installed for a week or 10 days now. It comes with everything you need, including the GPS puck. Includes basic lake maps and for the money this unit has TONS of features! I thought about getting a higher end unit but it will take me a month of Sundays to figure out all the features that are included in this finder.

It works GREAT!! It's sonar is excellent and I've navigated with it some, seems to work perfectly.

It shows water temp and depth, for speed you'll need to install a speed sensor which is extra, it will however show GPS speed without adding anything.

I picked mine up today at Bass Pro, looks good does include the antenna and can't wait to get it put in and try it out. I shouldn't have to change out transducers this is replacing an eagle fish mark 480 at the console and I am moving the 480 to the bow the transducers should be the same. So other than mounting the antenna it should be plug and play.
