MK power drive options

Ok guys... I have an older power drive, not a version2. I really would like to get a terrova with i-pilot but not ready financial wise yet plus nothing really wrong with my pd. What are my options to improve it.

1- I assume I pilot only works with version 2 pd's and not the older pd's. Has anyone tried on an older pd? Are we absolutely sure i pilot and older pd are not compatible?

2- Where is best place to get a auto pilot upgrade for older pd?

I believe someone changed the control board out to the newer control board that has the round connector so he could install the I
pilot. Probable could search in this electronic forum and find the conversion.

I wonder if its just a diffeeent connector or if the circuit on board is different ?

Not sure. I know the wiring on the 2 different foot pedals are about the same.
