Here is a good read on noise from Velixar.

I will be running Oscilloscope tests like the one shown in bottom right corner on the Minn Kota US2 when it warms a little.

Here, they recommend tying the start and the trolling motor batteries negatives together. I still recommend this also (in most cases).

I wonder if the mods would think it beneficial to make that a sticky in the electrical subforum as TM interference is a common topic in all brands of DF's....
