    Default Lowrance Elite/Mark-5 DSI

Im not a big fan of buying electronics when they first come out due to bugs and tweaks but it looks like Lowrance has done their homework and tested these units thoroughly. I have an Elite-5 already and was looking at buying this unit to put on my TM but with the speed that they can read at, I think im going to modify my ram mount like the guy did in the link below and find another unit to mount up front.

That guy in that link has as many transducers as I have. I double up stuff too, thanks to my machining mate connections.

Thanks for the link on this...shows exactly what this unit can do. I'm glad I held off on buying a new fishfinder...I'm going to get the Mark5X DSI as soon as it comes out. I already have a handheld GPS and don't really feel the need for the color display.
