    Default 788ci problems

A month ago I mounted 2 788ci's. Yesterday both of the went out at close to the same time. The one on the console froze up, and took over a minute to get it to shut off. (After it got dark I found out it wasn't off, I have a iluminatede blue screen that that is so dull it can't be seen in the daylight.) The front one has a transducer on the trolling motor. I'm sure it took a couple of hits in the brush, but nothing out of the ordinary. I now have a screen that is 2 tone black and grey, with 3 vertical lighter gray lines. It won't shut off or do anything. I had to disconect the battery to enlminate the power too them. Help!

Hey Hunter. This will be a power issue. Take bot units out of their mounts then charge the battery you have them connected to to a full charge. If you have a volt meter check the output if it is 12 volts hook both units back up they should work.

I know I had lots of trouble with depth finders when the battery was low, sounds like you may also have the same problem, worth a check, could be an easy fix, hope so anyway
