    Default LGC 4000 GPS Antenna

I am replacing my LGC 2000 antenna with a 4000. Does anyone know if I can use the cable that is on the 2000 or do I have to use the cable that came with the 4000? I have the red and blue end adapter cable part #127-05. If it is OK to just mount the 4000 and use the existing cable it will be a lot easier than trying to route the new cable where it belongs. I just got a 4000. It has the black connector. My lcx27 has red connector. I gotta git the red to black adapter. You might haveta do this too.

red and black are the same. if you have a blue network you will need adapter cable.

    Thanks

I got some bad advice from Lowrance or I misunderstood then, probably the latter. I don't do well on phones. I was reluctant to hook a black to red connector, although the pins fit. The HDS8 has a black and blue connector. I am not the type to just hook it up if you know what I mean.
