    Default took the plunge w hbird si


    found a screamer deal on a barely used but unit loaded with 45 brush piles waypoints. got the 997 si transducer,gps,pre loaded navionics and mounting bracket for my bow.$850

    in addition i got a new 1997si combo for my center console $1800. ordered the nav premium card and a ram mount.
    hope i get them mounted this week and look forward to finding some fish

    How big is a 1997?? Never heard of anything bigger than a 1197. Must be HUGE!!

    maybe the first 2 numbers are screen size with a feature that allows you to watch football when the fish aren't biting.

    yes meant 1197 and 997:D must have been the ambien
    real deals out there w the new hb unit comin out in the next few months. i looked for 6 mnths. i am not use to catchin so at least my expectations will be reasonable:D
