HDS8 GPS "diagnostic" pic

HDS8 hooked up inside my truck and under a tree in the park using HDS8 internal 16 channel gps. Best shot with most satellites locked on (7) and 2 sighted but no lock (26 and 4).

The EPE (estimated position error) is 31.2 feet. I believe the previous HB diagnostic picture showed the EPE as 2 feet. However, this is an estimate and it all depends on the method of estimating and no one does it the same way. I guess Lowrance uses the User Range Accuray transmitted prediction method combined with HDOP to predict accuracy. I could be wrong, I am guessing based on the difference in EPE values between the two units.
