Default Routing transducer cable on trolling motor

I tried a search but must not be using the key word to get what I am trying to find, so can someone help me out
with running my transducer cable on my trolling motor?

I have a scissor type and it has been about 15 years since I used this type motor and cannot remember how I wired the fishfinder.
I am getting stuck on what to do once I get to the top of the trolling motor with the cable.
I am not sure if I need to go to the foot pedel or something else?

    Any pics??

Check the stickys at the top of this forum. They are for PD models but might give you some ideas.

Are you asking about the cable run from the top of the TM to the transducer or from the top of the motor to the depth finder? If it is the latter, I run the cable along with the power/sterring cable coming out of the TM until it gets near the deck. Then I run the transducer cable to the depth finder and stow the excess.
