    Default MINN Kota Quick mount???

Anybody ever heard of or seen a quick mount that would allow me to swap between my Terrova and a Maxxum? There has got to be a way to do it, I just cant figure how.

One of these might work if you got and extra plate that bolts on the TM. Cabela's: Minn Kota Quick Release Trolling Motor Mount

The hole pattern is either cut for a Terrova or a Maxxum etc. The one Barnacle Bill posted can work though. You'll have to buy two though since the piece that mounts to the motor is not sold seperately. Then, you'll have to cut new holes to mount the Terrova too. It'd be better to buy 2 of the mounts for the Maxxums though since the mounting surface is so much smaller on the Terrova.

Saw a fella that used that type of mount to do it on a Skeeter ZX250. Expensive way to go, but I can sure see the benefit. Plus, the mount slides back to protect the Terrova when coming into the trailer. Pretty slick. Mine hangs over on a permanent mount and I worry that if I come in hard on a cross wind that I could smack it on the winch stand or on a steep ramp when the boat drops, it could come into contact witht he winch stand. On my normal lakes, it's not a problem, but I do know of one I'd have to be very careful with.

    Anywho...yeah, that'd work with mods.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
