    Default Low memory warning HDS

Got a warning today about the fact that I'm running out of memory and need to delete some things.

What is the best option for doing this? I have many tracks that are identical, by many I mean probably 30 trips worth. The bad news is that I'm assuming that many of these are lumped in bunches, like 10 trips might be grouped together.

I'm sure I'm not the only HDS owner that has faced this, any information you can give is appreciated.

Got to waypoints, routes, trails page. enter, then arrow over to trails,
arrow down and select a trail then select show, look at the trail on the screen. don't like it , delete it. This is what I do on the hds8, but there may be a better way or might not work this way on other models. I like this "show" feature.

I'll do that CP. I probably should download the Lowrance management utility for GPS also, and see if I can keep at least one of the routes, without keeping the additional 40 times of gone into an area.

You can always copy them to a SD card and reload them if needed.

I believe they have GPS data manager. I'm going to download it today and see if it'll do what I want.

just back them on to a SD card and name file and then delte all wpts and start over for each lake. but if need that old information just load back in there. but make sure you save\name and delete. then reload that old information.

I like that "show" feature before I delete anything I look and see where it is on the map. I have my unit wired to ac/dc converter so I can set in my recliner and play with it while I watch "Wheel of Fortune".

I noticed on HDS8 that there is no mention of tracks on the unit, but I plotted a track (usr) load it and it refers to the track as a track, not a trail and displays in the trail page as a track. Works though.

I have worse trouble then I thought. GDM6 won't even open my files. I have one route apparently that has 2000 miles on it.

Gonna break my heart to lose this. Is there any other software that guys use to manage this stuff?
