    Do you have to shut unit off each time transducer is lifted out of the water or can you leave it on? 586c Thanks

    No you don't have to shut it off don't understand why u taking ducer out of water tho plse explain. Some of other brand ff needed ducer to be kept in water cause they needed waster to keep them cool/ & could overheat if removed from water or operated out of water, say at home in driveway. not the case with HB

    Transducer is mounted on trolling motor.
