    Thanking about getting the hb 587 combo for the bow . Would that be a good choice. Have a 997 si on the back. thanks Rick

    I would think that would be a very good choice.

    If it were me I would put my best unit where I fish the most.

    Might want to look at a 700 Series at the minimum if you ever want to network. 500 Series are not networkable.

    might be worth noting, that if you want to network the unit, you'll need to buy the interlink module. If you have an SI finder on the console, it would be a huge waste not to get a network unit, along with the interlink. Will Share all the waypoints and routes between units. You'll be sorry if you don't do this.
