GPS Visualizer: Web interface to GPSBabel

    very helpful tool.

Funny you should post this. I downloaded this program the other day. I am trying to convert some waypoints from Lowrance to HB and from HB to Lowrance. I can't figure out how to use the darn program!

My fishing partner used EasyGPS yesterday to download our Garmin WPT's to a card to put in a Lowrance 520C. Don't know if it easier or not, I'm pretty weak on this tech stuff.

I was just taking the middleman (Easygps) out of the picture.

    Default Question for Cane Pole

My neighbor, Billy Bob directed me to you after I asked him for a good hand held GPS for fishing. I have had others recommend the Garmin GPS MAP 76CX. What do you recommend in the $200-$300.00 range?

    Thanks,

My memory is not what it once was, at least on things that I don't make it a point to remember or things that I don't often do. I had trouble with something. It was either getting the magellan points into the HB point manager (whatever it's called) or getting them into babel. I do remember, and you might too from helping me, that I went through easygps first, and saved the file there, then onto babel for the HB conversion, then to the HB software for point management, then to the card. I've got it written down somewhere. :D

You can go anything to HB using babel. Just remember to generate that matrix folder and rename the waypoints . MATRIX/DATA.USR Put this on sd card and Humminbird will upload waypoints without the cable and Humminbird PC.
