I have remote battery indicator on my display. And Slimey is correct, The CR2450 will not work. You must have a CR2450N. They last a good long while though.

Not true. Mine has an Energizer CR2450 (no "N") and it works fine. Nevertheless, if the "N" version of this battery is guaranteed to work, then that's the only reasonable choice. Anything else is a crapshoot.

I bought a 2450N at an Interstate Battery store for $3.99.

I tried an Energizer CR2450 in my remote, it wouldn't work with mine.

I bought a spare at Walmart. Best thing to do is take it out of the pack and try it before you ACTUALLY NEED IT and you'll know it does work. Mine says CR2450 too.:o

That's very interesting. Did you test the cell's voltage to be sure it was good? I've gotten a couple hundred hours (so far) out of an Energizer CR2450 and it's still going strong.
