I have a small 12 volts gear motor that I can put on mine and take off when not in use ,then I can guide it from back and set under my biniki top,only problem is have to have long wire to motor to back. I plug it into my cigarette lighter plug,don't know why I call it a cigarrette lighter when I never smoke?? Works great but I love casting so much only use it if it is a really bad day. With Canpole's talent could have made it wireless.
What kind of motor genec? DO you have a pic. I want to have a setup like that, but don't want to pay 800-2000 dollars for an ipilot.

same principal as a screw jack but it is a 3/8 threaded rod.

no, working on that, the sprocket makes it easier to turn up or down with foot without slipping. I mostly use foot unless bad weather,it comes off quickly
