Lowrance Elite-5M GPS

I recently bought a Lowrance Elite 5m gps simply bacause I was having trouble viewing my Eagle monochrome unit. The color unit is much brighter.
I hope this was not a mistake. I cannot get the elite to orient "track-up". It will only orient north-up or "couse over ground" (which causes the map to jump around. Does anyone know if there is a way to get this unit to orient track-up? If so, I sure would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

Track up is virtually the same thing as course over ground. The reason it will move around is that the screen moves to match the present course, if the course changes then the screen changes.

If you orient to track up, the map will rotate as you change course. If you orient North up, the map will stay stationary.

From a quick scan of the manual, it looks like those are your only options.
