If I have anymore problems with my HDS5 I may have one for sell?Lowerance told me that my unit was one of the first ones to go out and had a bad seal so when it got wet it died.Hope to have it back pretty soon bad thing is I lost all my way points but that was my own falt not backing it up.
If I hear of one Tom I will let you know.

cane pole i dont know how anybody could get tired of there hds! i got mine saturday 9:10am installed and was catching fish on new spots i found by 3:30 pm the same day. i have been fishing this lake for years didnt now this stuff was there.
i bought the hds10 with structure scan the price will scare ya!!!! i ordered mine and had it shiped 50 miles so i wouldn't have to pay 8 1/2 percent sales tax across state line witch came to 271 bucks did the install myself. i think most of the people on here own Humming bird. if you have any tips on runing hds my ears are wide open

kilnducks just get on the net and read read and read some more, the get you some time on the water and play play and fish, like you I have found lots of structure I did not know was there, good stuff man

The wait will be worth it. I have been running a HDS-10 & HDS-8 with structure scan all interlinked for a while and the screen shots are pretty amazing. I am trying to find out if the Navionics maps comes with any PC managment. Trying to keep up with 5000 waypoints gets interesting.I use OzExplorer but it won't transfer the description from .map to .usr . Any help in that area would be greatly appreciated. Going to be on North Kentucky Lake Sat. evening and Sun. all day weather permitting if you want to look and see. PM me and I will give you my number if you want to ride........Ifish
