    Default reverse polarity on battery

ran the battery down on the depth/locator and hooked up the battery charger backwards and it did not spark, left it on all night and it did not burn up, but now hot is ground and ground is hot, first time I ever did that, anyone else is ever do that. and if so, can the process be reversed.

This phenomenon is referred to as cell reversal. Completely discharge the battery and recharge with the proper polarity. It happens.

    Default good FYI

Also, if charging batteries installed in your boat, be sure to have ample ventilation.

Explosions can and do happen because of the higher volume of hydrogen and oxygen in a confined area.

Thank you Cane Pole I thought so, but wanted a second opinion. going to hook up a shop light and run it down,

and on the ventilation always open the hatch to the back of the boat, always have always will.
