    Default HDS5 Transducer


    Where can I purchase a side image transducer for this unit? In order to use the side image is all I have to do is swap out the ducer?

    You'll need to buy the LSS-1.

    Lowrance LSS-1 StructureScan Sounder - Includes Transducer


    Hopefully you were aware of this when you bought the unit, if not you're probably going to have sticker shock.

    Keep in mind that is just structure scan. Lowrance does not have SI yet.

    You will be using the same transducer for the reg. sonar. Adding the LSS-1 ducer so you can look out to the side and a 'REAL' signal, looking at the DownScan. You will be also adding a box to recieve these signals. VERY easy to use too. <*)}}}><
