JUST TURN THE FOOT PAD UPSIDE DOWN AND REMOVE THE 2 SCREWS THAT HOLD THE SPRINGS IN THE PAD. DON'T LOOSE THE SPRINGS. THE SCREWS ARE VERY SHORT. GO TO LOWES AND FIND 2 SCREWS (SAME SIZE) THAT ARE 1/2 IN LONGER AND 2 SCREWS THAT ARE 3/4 IN LONGER AND USE THEM TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL SCREWS. YOU ONLY NEED 2 OF THE SCREWS BUT TRY BOTH LENGHTS TO SEE WHAT WORKS BEST. I ENDED UP USING THE ONES THAT WERE 1/2 IN LONGER. IT MADE 1 HELL OF A DIFFERENCE. HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU.
