I'm currently sitting on hold with Minn Kota's Customer Service. My phone says I've been on for 18 minutes and 32 seconds. I would call my ASC, but I've only gotten an answering machine the last few days when I called him.
It seems their customer service is getting worse and worse. I'm thinking that they've put me on eternal hold hoping I would hang up. Lucky for me my phone is freshly charged and has a speaker so I can do other things while waiting, like posting what crappy service I'm getting from them while trying to get a replacement iPilot remote because the first one went nuts.
I've been trying to get a replacement from my local ASC for over a month, but every week when I call, he just says "it hasn't come in yet, give me a call next week".
I love my Terrova, well, at least the features I can use with the foot pedal, but Motor Guide is looking better and better!

@ 27 minutes and 11 seconds, Ryan answers. Nice guy, but says they don't know if I'll get a replacement anytime soon. From the way it sounds, you guys with the Power drives are getting all the remotes because you have no foot peddle as an alternative.
He said there would be another shipment on the 25th, but that order wouldn't fill their needs either. Seems to be a lot of Minn Kota remotes needing replaced!
Oh boy, looking like I might go the Summer and into the Fall before I get to use the iPilot features on my trolling motor.
Dear Santa, could you bring me a replacement remote for my Minn Kota iPilot. I've been a good boy and I've been waiting patiently!

I think they're having a lot more problems with this than they thought they expected. My remote has condensation in it and i can't tell what I'm doing with it. The steering is also becoming flaky, all probably because of the condensation inside it. I'm tempted to put my old trolling motor back on and use it. I knew I shouldn't have bought a TM with all these extras and NO foot control.
Not what I'm wanting to hear since I just today ordered a Terrova with i-pilot & US2.

There was a report that a sub contractor supplied product was causing the problems. I understand they have corrected the problem, but with so many units needing replacement they are behind. That doesn't help anyone who's motor is down though. I've got a new I-Pilot myself on a Powerdrive, and it scares me that my remote might die. I'll be SOL with no foot pedal to use. Haven't used mine but a few hours yet, so don't know if I may have a dud remote that will surprise me, or I have a newer one that the change has been made. Hope you guys get straightened out soon.
I have a Terrova, the remote it came with died the first week. I got a free replacement that day from my ASC guy, no problems since. You guys with the PD, if yours goes out, you can always uninstall the i-pilot and use your foot pedal again. It's a 5 minute, no big deal fix. I am glad I sprung for the Terrova though.
