Default Finally got my transducers situated....

I have tried everything with these transducers. I made a plate that bolts to the jackplate and then mounted the SI and fathometer transducer to it.

Working on stuff between storms. Weather here kinda sucks at present.

You see the holes in the mount plate. I been trying.:o

You have the SI in the middle. Do the ones on each side interfere?

    Hey Tom,
Are you using Dr. Depth? I looked at that program and it looks pretty interesting. Let us know how that project is coming along. Did yo do the side scan comparison yet? I put a Lowrance HDS 10 & HDS 8 on my boat and so far I really like the detail on everything.Still trying to get use to the GPS. Seems a little slow on the refresh rate.Might be putting the 4000 puck on there soon and see if that helps. Are we going to have a shindig at Paris Landing this fall? Thougt I would get all my questions in at once..........Ifish

No. Bad weather and high water still holding us up. Will get it done as soon as we can. I have the "targets" ready. Should be interesting.

I believe we will have another shindig. If not, come on down and we will have one ourselves. I haven't done anything with Dr depth yet. I hope I live long enough to do all this chit.:p:p

No one is 200Khz, the other 50 Khz and SI is 455khz. I can run all three at the same time. Sometimes I need 3 heads.

There may not be any sonar interference but it looks like there will be some physical blockage of the Si beams to both sides. Hard to tell without being there and eyeballing it myself.

That is what I was talking about. LIne of sight of the 455 beam out the side and bouncing off your other 2 transducers. By the way Greg the interference kit that HB sent me for my trolling motor 798 did the trick. Worked like a charm.

It clears both Ironing board transducers(vertically and horizontally) by about an inch. I have sharpened my drill bits just in case. Will see when water gets better here.
