Give up the foot pedal!!! Get a Terrova with i-pilot, and you'll never want to use a foot pedal again. I LOVE mine!!!!!

Terrova with I-Pilot should work with the foot pedal.

It does work with the foot pedal, but after you use the remote, you'll stowe it in a compartment and forget about it.

    Default Trolling Motor

Thanks for the info,I have a terrova on my center console and like it but I get in some hairy situations crappie fishing and didnt know how it would be shooting docks, the foot pedal works good doing that so im undecided on my crappie boat.

I'd go with the iPilot also, although I've had less than satisfactory results with both the TM and MK Customer Service. The unit works great with the foot control but I haven't had time to take my unit to a ASC to get another remote and MK won't send another one.

Before my remote messed up, I used the iPilot quite a bit, but it wasn't exactly as accurate as I'd hope. It had quite a bit of side drift to it, depending on the wind/current/wave action, etc.

You'd get to the spot you were aiming at, it just might not be on the line you needed it to be!
