    Need some help , Have a old Humminbird Wide view with the standard transducer (DHS-W ) I would like to upgrade to a better unit , Which units can I upgrade to and still use the transducer I have . ( it's glued to the inner floor of the boat ????) Thanks a bunch .

    RiceRocket,
    Just about any of our current units can use the 200kHz (16 degree) element inside the DHS-W transducer you have. They will not be able to make correct usage though of the second wider sonar beam in that DHS-W though as it is quite different than the DualBeam transducers we use now. The DHS-W can even be used for the 2D sonar for one of our Si sonar units if you want to go that way. Any unit connected only to the DHS-W transducer will only have the 200kHz sonar and not the wider 83kHz 60 degree sonar.
