    Default Trolling Motor Batteries

What your opinion on the best trolling motor batteries? Mine are about to give up and I need a new pair.

Bill posted a real good link to read. With only a couple of companies manufacturing batteries under a bunch of different brand names what matters most to me is warranty support. Who do I have local access to in case I have to make a return and who offeres the best warranty on a similar sized battery.

I buy my batteries from walmart. There is never a question as long as failure occurs during warranty

US Battery 12v Golf Cart Batteries. 292 amp hours for well back of 200. They have more amp hours than all the rest. I pulled cranks with mine last summer all day, and they held up better than any I've ever used, and I've tried them all.

Made by Johnson Controls. This is what I use. Why pay more?

292AH in a 12V battery has to be an 8D, and I'm not even sure an 8D has that much capacity. What model battery is it?
