down imaging download?

Do you need cables or what to download the Down Imaging? My bro has an external receiver, so not sure where to start?

Don't know what finder you have, but if an update is available for yours, you can just use an SD/SDHC/MMC card and your computer.

The Down Imaging software is only available for the Side Imaging units. All of the Side Imaging units have an SD card reader so you should be able to dowmload the software to an SD card using your computer and load it into the unit like Jethro said.
