    Default Lowrance 520 help please


    my 520 wont read the 2010 navionics chip I have not updated the software to the latest verision. when i do this will i lose my saved waypoints,and will the new update take care of the unit not reading the 2010 chip

    u wont be able run the 2010 micro sd card in the 520 and lcx series. you will need to get 2009 or 2008 card.
