What unit is it? I remember they did come out with updated software for that problem on some units. Go to Lowrances website and see if you have the latest software.

While fishin in 2-3 fow, my 125 started blinkin 60 fow. I turned it off/on, nothin. I disconnected everything and re-connected, didn't fix it. I screwed with the menu a little, and did something that fixed it, but 10 minutes later, wthout me touching it, it started with 60 fow and blinkin again. I didn't see a factory default click any where. Really confused. Do you think it could be as easy as a transducer issue. The TD doesn't look to be damaged at all.?????

My HDS5 doesn't like water 2.5 or less it does the same thing but works fine in deeper water if you find out there is a problem or update let us know.

With both units, reduce the sensitivity and get out of auto depth. Set depth to 10ft. On the HDS, set fishing mode to shallow. menu>menu>sonar>fishing mode. select 'shallow water' and enter. What is happening is you are gettingfeed-back. Hope this helps :D:D ya!!! <*)}}}><

Get a Humminbird.
try running in manual depth. instead of auto. it may be your transducer too. so if you have extra or no somebody has extra. or switch unit with somebody and see recreates the problem on your transducer and do the same with your unit.
