    Default Minnkota Powerdrive V2

I took the blade off my trolling motor lastnite to clear some string that was tied up in there because it was making a whizz sound. Well anyways put the blade back on and still making that sound. So I took the blade off again and then took some bolts loose and pulled out the big piece of the trolling motor that the blade is hooked to. Well looked around for a sec and decided to put it back together. All went fine and got everything hooked back up and no whizz sound.

Well whatever I did caused the blade to spin backwards. So now I have to turn the head of my motor 180 degrees to go forwards. Also, it is causeing a power loss to the 55lb thrust TM. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great.

Did you loosen any wires? If so, sounds like you put them on backwards. Roll the wires.

I'd guess you put it back upside down.

It was upside down But I turned it around and bolted it bacl up and works right. Still has that whizz sound to it a little bit, but atleast the blade is turning the right way. Thanks
