    Default Minn Kota problems

Minn Kota 24 volt variable speed foot control. I have in line 50 amp auto breakers. Is it possible
to have a breaker go bad & still have power to the trolling motor only at 1/2 or less speed at 100% battery's are new & fully charged. It did it with the old battery's also.Last fall it seamed like i was having to turn the the control higher just to control the boat in the light wind. Any thoughts on what it might be. Trolling motor is only 4 years old. Thanks Jim C.

Check all your connections to be sure they are clean and tight. If they are all good have the batteries load tested at your local auto parts store.

Are you sure you have them wired for 24 volt ? I changed my batteries out and wired them for 12 volt instead 24 volt made a big difference until I wired them right .

I messed with it a little while & gave up turned it over to the experts. Hope to get it back later this week. I will let everyone know what it was. Thanks for all the input. Jim C.
