    Default Humminbird 729 question


    when I turn on my livewell my graph shuts off. All batterys are new, and charged. Contacts are clean and in good shape. Any ideas.

    check the pins/socket in your sonar pedestal. Get your sonar off the batt. w/ livewell. Poss. the batt. reads good voltage but can't handle the load. If you take it to a Batteries Plus or somewhere like that they can load test it to see if it's good.

    Sonds to me that you are getting a voltage when your livewells are turn on. I would try it on a diffrent battery. That should solve the problem.

    Cool Bad Battery

    My 798 on the front was doing the same thing. I had the same setup. It was a bad battery.

    Put new battery in and problem went away.
