Default Question for HB Greg or Toby

I have a 788 and a 998 (interlink is on backorder). The 788 display defaulted to show surface temp. The 988 does not and I cannot find how to set it to show the surface temp. Been through the CD on the PC and sitting in the boat with the 998 on and operating. Just can't fine how to turn on temp. Can you help??

Go to raw 2 d screen, menu to select readouts and toggle till you find temp. I think.

Maj-- My 797 was fine until I uploaded the latest upgrade and then the temp went away. It turned out that my transducer somehow went bad. I never once had a problem with it until the upgrade. They sent me a new transducer and everything is good now.

Go to the Select Readouts menu as DTB and Wilbur stated and set one of the digital readout boxes to display Temperature. The Select Readouts menu is under the Setup menu tab. Not sure about the 998 but on most of our other units there are certain digital information boxes that are locked to showing specific information based what View you are looking at. Go to the full 2D sonar screen to be sure what you have selected will show up.

Wilbur you must also have been thinking about the Temperature Graph menu which is under the Sonar menu tab.

Thanks guys. Played with it in the garage until I figured it out. Found out I could customize the whole readout.
