Default Need help with edge trolling motor

I have a 70 lb. Minn Kota Edge. The directional arrow is mis-aligned with the way the motor is pointed. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. The motor has not been used very much and this happened to me yesterday while fishing. Thanks for the help.

If my memory serves me you can lift that arrow and turn it to the proper direction.

That's what I was thinking, I believe you can remove the 4 screws that hold the top on, and lift the arrow off the cable drum and realign it to the proper direction.

Thanks for the info guys. Turned out one of the small gears that turns the arrow had jumped out of place, but I was able to get it back on track. Thanks again for the help.

Just loosin the tension screw in the footpedal, take the cover off the head adjust the gear accordingly to fit the arrow correctly. be sure to tighten tension screw firmly but no to tight when your done
