I Have Two Lowrance Hds5 Lake Insight Units That Came On The New Boat I Just Bought. One Of The Units Is Great But When I Set Everything Up The Same Way On The Other Unit The Sonar Screen Is Terrible And Just Will Not Display Anything Close To What The Other Unit Looks Like. Any Suggestions? I Am Going Tommorow And Swapping The Bad Unit To The The Other Transducer Upfront To See If That Makes A Difference.

Thanks Bill. I tried turning on the one on the drivers console first and by itself but it did not make a difference. The unit was working fine and just quit reading like I had it set all of a sudden. The GPS part works fine. I hope it is something to do with the transducer.
May want to check and see what they are running (83 or 200). I know you have to make an adjustment going from one to the other. Look on the bottom of your sonar page...it will tell you which one it is running.

Thanks for the input. I figured it out today. It is the transducer. I moved the unit I was having issues with to the transducer on front and it worked fine. I have a spare transducer and I plan on replacing the bad one tommorow with the spare one.
