Default Oh No!! My Shaft Is Too Long......

I bought a Terrova 80 lb. thrust witha 60" shaft and up until now it hasn't bothered me. I finally fished some shallow water and it just bug's me sticking up the way it does. It is the first time I have ever had this problem with the shaft being too long.. Anyone else had this problem?

I have the same problem with the same trolling motor. I have a deck boat and when trolling motor is not deployed I can't shut my entry door have to tie it shut with a rope and it's against the trolling motor head and starting to scar top of trolling motor. Have thought about cutting the shaft it really doesn't need to be 60" long .

I've got the same outfit and thought it would bother me big time before using it but so far it has not that big of a problem. Mind is mounted on a Ranger bass boat.

Take it to a MK service center like Grizzly Jig and have 'em chop it to your specs if you're worried about the warranty. Otherwise, grab a hacksaw. Ain't that hard.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I just don't want to be in the situation of being blown all around and not having enough shaft length.
