From reading these threads it looks like everyone is pleased with their Terrova but I haven't heard much about the Powerdrive V2. I am trying to decide between the two and was wondering what the main difference is between the two. Both are I-pilot compatible and both are available with Auto Pilot as well as Universal Sonar. Both come with an 18' cord and you can get a wireless foot pedal for the Powerdrive. You may be able to get it for the Terrova also although I'm not sure. The Terrova has a $100.00 factory rebate and the Powerdrive has a mail in coupon for the Co-pilot for $9.99. Is the Terrova really worth the price difference? I am looking for a good trolling motor for my pontoon boat, both to troll with but also to fish as close as possible to bank brush. I went to Bass Pro over the weekend and they tried to talk me into a Motorguide wireless but I have had some previous experience with Motorguide that wasn't very good. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
