    Default HB GPS Question.

Once I got my GPS fixed on my 898, I noticed that the reaction time for the boat symbol to turn and move was lacking. I would pass over the actual brush pile (looking at 2D) before the boat symbol actually got to the waypoint on the chart. Is there a setting for this that I missed? Sure hope I can get this to be more real-time!

    JT,
How is the GPS Receiver connected to the 898 unit?
Where are the GPS Receiver and the Transducer(s) mounted on your boat?

Greg - The transducer is on the transom and the reciever is toward the back. Maybe 2 feet from the reciever. I downloaded the new software update tonight that is supposed to improve GPS rendering.
