    Default HB upgrade issues?

    1. This my be a normal, but when in the simulator mode, in System Status Accessory Test Page, the GPS shows "connected" status. GPS not hooked up.

    2. When in simulator mode, zooming out (zoom-) and moving cursor to set GPS simulator start point, the 997 restarted several times (just like I just had turned the unit on). This is a repeatable problem in the simulator mode.

My unit has restarted itself numerous times while I have been fish'n. Never done it before, just since the upgrade.

This happened in the den with bench power supply. Never happened before upgrade. I ain't made it to the boat yet. Maybe this coming weekend. I can only hope for a "release to fish" pass from the Dr.

The GPS Receiver showing as Connected is normal while in either of the Simulator modes. The unit is playing back a sonar recording and so thinks that the NMEA data it is processing is coming from a live GPS Receiver.

When your unit restarted was there a map card in it?

What sort of power supply and electrical connections where you suing when this happened?

    No map card installed.

15v 3a desktop switching power supply.

    My connections are good.

Default New observation. I have NVB.

When in simulator mode, and on map page and I move the little boat from Florida to Tn (so to set my simulation start point) and start to zoom in on my little area the units reloads and sets up defaults. Always drops advanced user setting.

If I move the cursor slowly, and let the map pages load fully with each zoom, I can actually set the start simulation point sometimes.

All other stuffs work ok (that I can tell) in the simulate made.
