You are right, spot lock does better if you are dead still on your target. That only makes sense. I called MK today and they are sending me a new foot control. Sometimes I had to put all my weight (220 lbs) on the heal of the pedal and it would still not make contact.

Take the 2 screws out that holds the foot peddle on the unit. Don't let the springs get away. Take one of those screws to Lowes or where ever and pick up some longer. 5/8" to 1 " long. Then try that foot control out. LOL
Its so easy to move then its unreal.
I need to do a how to on this with pictures showing it. For less then $1 you can fix it up.
Also some have issues with deploying these. Where the foot lays in the cradle theres 4 rubber wheels it lays on. I pray mine with liquid Graphite and its jumps in the water. When I release the button its on its way to the water. No fuss.

Beagle, how sensitive was the steering? Would you feel comfortable getting into the timber on Truman with it. I've heard of a few people that switch the TM out depending on the lake.
