Minn Kota Quick Release Brackets?

I plan to mount a 55 Terrova 48 shaft TM on my new boat this weekend. I had thought I might buy the MKA 21 Quick Release Bracket and mount using the bracket so I can remove TM during duck season. What problems have people had with this bracket, if any? Is it strong to withstand all the deploying and stowing as well as normal wear? Has anyone experienced one coming apart and losing their TM? I haven't bought yet and have not seen how it's put together. Any comments to share?

I do not have the quick release bracket on my boat, but I know 3 people that do and they really like them. I am planning to put one on my boat after this Spring.
